What are you seeing?

If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911 or the gas utility first. Don’t flip switches or use a flame.

  • A gas smell in the building
  • A Local Law 152 inspection notice
  • A shutoff or failed gas inspection
  • Old, damaged, or exposed gas piping
  • A new appliance that needs a gas connection

I check what’s actually there.

I’ll look at the piping, valves, and connections. If there’s a leak or a problem with the setup, I’ll show you where it is.

If it’s a small repair, I’ll say so. If more work is needed, I’ll explain it and give you the cost before I start.

For Local Law 152, I can help you understand the notice and what the building needs next. All plumbing and gas work is performed under a NYC licensed Master Plumber.

Pricing and repairs

I’ll tell you what it costs before I touch it.

The price depends on what I find and how much piping needs to be reached. The estimate is free. If I come out to diagnose it, that service call comes off the repair.

I won’t tell you to replace a whole run if one section can be fixed safely. If it does need replacing, I’ll show you why.
